How to install Guest Additions on CentOS 6.4

I just installed CentOS 6.4 on my VirtualBox and now I need to install the VirtualBox Guest Additions on my CentOS 6.4. We need to install several packages in order to install the Guest Additions. without it, the installation will failed because of the mismatch of the Kernel version. So, before installing Guest Additions, I do the following on Terminal (as root)

yum install kernel-headers make gcc
yum update kernel*
reboot

After reboot, I go to Devices | Install Guest Additions and follow the wizard. When done, reboot is required and viola, my CentOS 6.4 is now equipped with VirtualBox Guest Additions so I can get a full screen and seamless mode enabled.

How to install XBMC on Fuduntu 2013.1

XMBCIts a bit out from my main topic on this blog. I extend my tutorial category or topics on this blog. Now I will write tutorial for ClearOS, CentOS, Oracle and other RPM based Linux including Fuduntu. OK this is my first Fuduntu tutorial and I want to show you how easy to install XBMC on Fuduntu 2013.1.

XBMC is my favorite multimedia player for Linux and Windows. The modern interface has attracted me to try it several months ago and now I fall in love with it. Every Linux distribution that I install, I always test if XBMC runs on that distros.

XBMC is available in Fuduntu/CentOS repository so we can easily install it with a single command

yum install xbmc

Once finished, we can start using it and play your favorite movies and music on Fuduntu using XBMC.
